Custom Pillow Boxes in Phoenix

Phoenix is where the heat conversation stops being theoretical. Sustained temperatures in an unconditioned stockroom or a delivery vehicle are high enough that adhesive selection genuinely matters, and it is the single most useful thing we change for customers here.

It is worth being clear about the limit. No paperboard box insulates. Packaging cannot keep a chocolate solid or a candle from softening — what it can do is make sure the pack itself does not fail, and that a softened product does not deform into an odd shape inside it.

Production and transit quoted as one date, so you can plan around it rather than around a production time.

What packaging can and cannot do about heat

It cannot insulate. A carton at this scale has negligible thermal mass and no barrier, and a product that softens at thirty degrees will soften inside it.

It can stop the pack itself failing — adhesives that hold, laminates that do not lift, board that does not warp — and it can hold the contents in a fixed position so a softened product keeps its shape rather than slumping. Those two things are worth specifying for; insulation is not something to buy at this format.

Impulse and visitor retail

  • A low unit cost, because the ticket price is low
  • Two colors done boldly rather than four done thinly
  • A reinforced hang hole for peg display
  • A common box with a variable element across a range of designs
  • A card-only option where the item is very low value

Supplying Phoenix: common questions

Can packaging keep my product cool?

No. Paperboard does not insulate at this scale. What we can do is stop the pack failing and hold a softened product in shape, and we will tell you plainly where the limit is.

What causes laminate to lift at the edges?

Prolonged heat, usually in storage rather than transit. Where that is likely, an uncoated or varnish-only finish avoids the problem entirely.

How do I get shelf impact cheaply?

Fewer colors, boldly used, on a kraft or colored board. Fewer plates also lowers the fixed cost, which matters at impulse volumes.

Can one box cover many souvenir designs?

Yes, with a variable printed element or an applied label per design. It is what keeps a large range economic.

Do you have a Phoenix facility?

No. We supply Phoenix businesses and ship to Phoenix addresses; we do not operate premises in the city.
