Where we supply
Custom Pillow Boxes for Canadian Brands
Canadian packaging carries a requirement none of our other markets does: a great deal of consumer product information has to appear in both English and French. On a pillow box, where the printable panel is small to begin with, that is the single biggest constraint on the design, and it has to be planned for rather than discovered.
The second consideration is distance. Canada is large and sparsely populated outside a handful of corridors, so transit within the country varies more than customers expect. We quote production and delivery as one date rather than separating them.

Designing for a bilingual panel
Two languages on a small pack is a layout problem before it is a translation problem.
-
Get the French copy first
French runs longer than English — commonly fifteen to twenty per cent. Designing to the English and adding French afterward is how packs end up with unreadable type.
-
Decide the arrangement
Side by side, stacked, or English on one panel and French on the other. Each uses space differently and each has to be legible.
-
Set the minimum type size
Fix it once for both languages, then see how much space the copy actually needs.
-
Then design the front
With the obligation placed, the front panel is genuinely free — and it usually benefits from having one job.
What Canadian customers commonly need
- Bilingual layouts that stay legible on a small panel
- Metric dimensions, though imperial is equally workable
- Board specified for cold-weather transit, where handling gets rougher
- Realistic delivery dates that account for domestic transit
- Seasonal planning around a short and concentrated retail calendar

Can you print bilingual English and French packaging?
Yes, and it is common on Canadian work. Send the French copy at the same time as the English, because French typically runs longer and the layout has to be built around the longer version.
Do you deliver across all provinces?
Yes, including the territories. Transit times vary considerably by destination and are quoted with the job rather than estimated afterward.
Metric or imperial?
Either. Most Canadian specifications reach us in millimeters, but inches are equally workable — just tell us which you are using.
Will cold weather affect the packaging?
Board itself is unaffected, but handling in winter conditions tends to be rougher and moisture is a greater risk in transit. Where it matters we will specify a heavier board or an E-flute construction.
Do you have a Canadian office?
No. We serve Canadian customers and ship to Canadian addresses; we do not operate premises there and will not suggest otherwise.
Who pays import duties and taxes?
It depends on the incoterms agreed for your order, which are confirmed in writing on your quote before you commit.
