What humidity does to the pack
Paperboard absorbs and releases moisture with the air around it. In a humid bathroom or a warm storeroom, a board box will take up moisture and can transfer it to a bath bomb sitting against it, which is precisely the reaction you are trying to prevent until the product is used.
The practical answer is to keep the bomb wrapped — a film or shrink wrap around the product itself — and let the box be a presentation and protection layer rather than a moisture barrier. Trying to make the carton airtight does not work and is not worth paying for.
